We’ve always been captivated by time. It’s a mind-blowing phenomenon, and has divided many smart men and women over the years. Newton claimed it to be absolute and Albert Einstein proved it to be relative. To be completely honest, when it comes to science, we don’t know what to believe. Something we do know however, is that in whatever way you choose to spend your time, you should look amazing in keeping track of it. Naturally, there are certain places around the globe that are worth spending extra time in and around. That’s why we’ve put together three of our favourite spots from the best place in the world – the Côte d’Azur. Enjoy!

LA CHEVRÉ D’OR, EZE VILAGE

A legendary place deserves a legendary story. This particular one begun in 1953 when Robert Wolf was captivated by the Chateau, and turned it into a restaurant. Soon thereafter another fan of the place, none less than Walt Disney, advised the owner to buy the adjacent village houses and turn them into rooms. Situated in the charming village of Eze, this beautiful retreat features stunning views and a romantic garden – turning it into a unique diva, unaffected by the passage of time.

Named after the daughter of Pablo Picasso, this lovely little refuge has offered both pristine waters and delicious food since 1948. Hidden away between the giant villas of the noveau riche, this little paradise has amazingly managed to retain its laid-back family feel. Apart from soaking up the Riviera sun there’s plenty to do, ranging from spearfishing to jumping on a jet ski. Or, you could simply enjoy a divine meal on the beach. The lobster pasta is our favourite – bon appetite!

MUSÉE OCEANOGRAPHIQUE, MONACO

Built on the side of the mythical Rock of Monaco, this astonishing historical building has been watching over the oceans for more than a century. Founded by Prince Albert in 1910 and designed as a palace, its breathtaking architecture is inspired on all accounts by the marine world. From aquariums and shark lagoons to contemporary art exhibitions with Damien Hirst and Huang Yong Ping, the museum continues to be faithful to its vision of bringing Art and Science together. A must visit when in Monaco!
